Wanda B. "Bonnie" Caton Johnston, 81, of Langsville, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Pleasant Valley Hospital at Point Pleasant, W.Va.
She was a homemaker, and also was a member of the Rutland Freewill Baptist Church, the former Pythian Sisters of Wilkesville, and the Pomeroy Chapter of TOPS.
She was born Jan. 4, 1927, at Vinton, daughter of the late Cecil and Lizzy Coffee Caton.
She married Eugene Curtis Johnston on Oct. 30, 1946, and he survives with five children, Cecil (Becky) Johnston of Langsville, Keith Johnston of Langsville, Melva (Jay) Tracy of Pomeroy, B.J. (Jim) Lama of Springfield, and Vicki (Roy) Taylor of Cheshire; 11 grandsons, four granddaughters, 10 great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters; and three sisters, Betty (Bob) Hayes of Fordland, Mo., Dot (Bob) Deemer of Jackson, and Janet (Dick) Ladd of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton, followed by cremation. Interment will be in the Salem Center Cemetery in Meigs County at the discretion of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
