*There's conflicting information on his birth date. Ohio death certificate database on ancestry.com only gives 1889. WW II Draft Registration Card lists 19 Jan 1889. WW I Draft Registration Card lists 13 Jan 1889. I checked the original copies thinking WW II Card was transcribed wrong but that's what is listed. Ohio Soldiers in WWI 1917-1918 lists his birth as 13 Jan 1889. 1900 census lists Jan 1889.
