Cemetery WHITE OAK

White Oak - Bedford Twp. Cemetery
Meigs County,

There are several Civil War Soldiers buried in this cemetery. Many of the graves are for small children. Lots of deaths in the 1860s and there are many unmarked garves. I photographed the complete cemetery in 2002. Other than the 7 pictures of stones that are totally unreadable this is a complete record as of 2002. The stone in the lower right hand corner is that of George Mealey and to the left of George's stone is Mary Melissa Mealey his daughter.
This cemetery for a while was called or referred to as Marshall Chapel Cemetery.
