7th-born of 13 known children of Michael Wilson & Lavina Henry; he married Frances Porter on 11 Feb. 1875 in Madison Co., Ohio; they were the parents of 4 known children; from "The Portrait and Biographical Album of Clark & Greene Counties", "the large & highly respected WILSON family, of which Washington H. Wilson is a most worthy representative, has for many years, been widely and favorably known in this part of Ohio and is looked upon as belonging to its' best elements. He with whose name is one of the substantial farmers of Harmony Township, Clark County, where he operates successfully as a tiller of the soil and a breeder of fine stock".
