Elizabeth was born 19 Aug 1835 in Gallia Co., OH and died 14 Jul 1911 in Gallipolis, Gallia Co., OH. She was the daughter of James and Hannah Burnett. She married Samuel Hamilton 19 Jan 1854 in Gallia Co., OH. They raised a family that included six children.
Samuel was born in 1837 in Belmont Co., OH and died 5 Jan 1923 in Gallipolis, Gallia Co., OH. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Wise) Hamilton. Sam was a riverboat pilot on the Ohio River and as a Master Pilot earned the title Captain.
