He was married three times: first to Mazie Jane O'Neal on 02 Apr 1849 in Gallia Co., OH; second to Sarah O'Neal on 20 Jan 1856 in Gallia Co., OH; third to Annie Cheatwood on 26 Dec 1896 in Gallia Co., OH.
