Opal Biars was born 12 June 1917, a daughter of John Phillip A. Biars and wife Catherine Middleton. Opal died 04 Nov 1918, in New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio, and was interred in Milldale Cemetery, also known as School Land Hollow Cemetery, Scioto County. Opal, sister Marion Jane and father John died during the Great Influenza Epidemic, according to family members. John Biars and Marion Jane Biars were also buried at Milldale. Sources: 1.
