Laura was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Barrett and Lydia Nance, an unmarried couple. She was married to Alfred Oren, with whom she had at least eight children. After Alfred's death, she married William Brumley Naylor, with whom she had two more children. (9 May 1854 - 13 Apr 1921)
