Albert Locher was born 09 Sep 1906 in Scioto County, Ohio, a son of Charles Locher and wife Mary Presley. Albert died on 29 Nov 1906 and was buried in Milldale (School House Hollow) Cemetery in Scioto County. His name is listed on a 1982 inventory of Milldale Cemetery with a notation that he was a son of “G & M Locher.” A 1997 cemetery inventory adds this inscription: “Gone To Be An Angel.” According to family members, Albert’s mother was named Mary. The 1997 inventory and a map of the cemetery showing mostly fieldstones are available at the Portsmouth Public Library. Albert’s grave is No. 39 on the map.
