Evelyn M Barger, 87, St. Paris, died at 2:27 p.m., January 29, 1995, in her residence, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 25, 1907, in St. Paris, the daughter of Charles E and Nellie A (Poorman) Apple.
She was a 1925 graduate of Johnson-St. Paris High School, and a member of the Covenant Lutheran Church, St. Paris.
She and her husband spent many years working together in farming. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Pud" Barger, whom she married on Dec. 15, 1925, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, in the Covenant Lutheran Church, corner of W. Main and Church street, St. Paris, with the Rev. James Cope officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris
