Carl Douglas Wells, 49, Littleton, Colo., died at 1 p.m. Friday in his residence.
He was born Sept, 11, 1923 in Odds, KY., the son of Sherman and Lillian (Collins) Wells. He had worked in construction for 27 years in the Urbana-Springfield area and was a member of Carpenters Union Local 660 in Springfield
In October of 1971, he moved to Colorado and for the past year had been ill health.
He is survived by three sons. Kenneth, Lynn and Richard; a daughter-in-law Evelyn; two granddaughters; his mother, Mrs. Lillian Wells of Urbana; seven sisters, 19 nieces and seven nephews.
Two brothers are deceased.
Services will be held Tuesday at the Bullock Funeral Home in Englewood, Co., and the body will be brought to the Walter Funeral home for services at 1:30 pm Saturday. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery
