Many Attend Rites for Boy
The Friends Church here was filled to capacity with sorrowing relatives and friends, Thursday afternoon, when funeral services were held at 2 o'clock for Johnny Jenkins 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs William Jenkins of this city, who died at the Champaign County hospital earlier in the week following a second operation for appendicitis.
Rev. Larkin Hadley, pastor, conducted the rites and interment was made in Grandview cemetery by R.C. Gardner, Urbana funeral director.
School classmates acted as pallbearers and were: Willis Johnson, Charles Hiltebran, Jack Fox and Marion Page.
