Walto James Boggs, 77, of Urbana passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 28, 1933 in Braxton County, West Virginia, the son of Fred and Ocie (White) Boggs.
Walto retired from the Urbana School System after working there many years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Wanda Wilson whom he married on April 26, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Wilson) Boggs; daughter, Martha (Dana) Andrews of Lakeview; son, James W. Boggs of Urbana; siblings, Catherine Boggs Cresong of Akron, Eugene White of Chicago, IL, Charles (Rosie) White of Creston, WVA, Elliott (Linda Sue) White of Parkersburg, WVA and Emma White Shultz of Parkersburg, WVA; brother-in-law, Walt & Robin Wilson of Springfield; sisters-in-laws, Delores Boggs Henderson of Indiana, Betty & Kenny Miller of Urbana and Linda & Joe Powers of Springfield; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Grace Baptist Church, Urbana with Pastor Aaron Samples officiating.
Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery
