Edward was the son of Samuel W. and Mary (House) Myers. He lived in Galion most of his life but moved to Moline, Illinois, where he died.
He was married to Lottie Spitzer, and their children were Dana Melville (also known as Dana Stanley); Charles Alton; Mary Margaret; Marie Emeline; and Edward Thomas.
