Mr. William Carlton [sic], aged 60 [sic], of Bedford Township, recently died suddently from the effects of the heat. He weighted over 300.

William Carleton, Sen, an old and highly respected citizen of Bedford township, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his residence, on the morning of Tuesday, the 11th inst. His age was 73.
