Uri was a farmer. He served in the War of 1812. Uri lived in Middlebury, Vermont; Jay, Essex, New York; and lastly in Bridgewater, Williams, Ohio. He married Lydia ADAMS on 20 Jan 1812. They were the parents of eight children.
