This grave site is located in the New Harmony Cemetery, with the old Pig Nut Hickory tree located in the background.
The marker is engraved:
"GEORGE FRY, 1836 - 19__" and
"PHENEY his wife, 1835 - 1910".
George (1836-1925) was born, raised and died in Brown county. He and his wife Pheney Blackburn Fry (1835-1910) were listed in the Pike/Brown/Ohio census reports for 1860, 1880, 1890 (Surreysville), 1900 and 1910.
