Seitz, Jacob, 1844 - 1922 -Father- Jacob C. Seitz was born on Nov. 7, 1844 in Germersheim, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany to Wilhelm & Mariae Josephae (Kaemmerer) Seitz. He immigrated to America in Sept. 1867, settling in Cleveland, OH. He arranged for Catherine Gross, from the same town to join him in the fall of 1868. They were married on Dec. 14, 1868 in St Peter's Catholic Church, Cleveland, OH. They had 5 children. Jacob died Dec. 24, 1922 at his home in Cleveland, at the age of 78. Jacob & Catherine were married 54 years. (section New lot 328, part all)
