Henry C. Baldwin/ died on 24, Oct. 1851/ AE 22 years/ Henry Clay Baldwin drowned in Lake Erie on 24, Oct. 1851, off Long Point, Ontario, when the propeller ship "Henry Clay" {Sailing from Detroit to Buffalo} was wrecked in a severe gale, killing 16 people - his body was never recovered.
