E.M. 3/C, 1923 -Lost at Sea- 1943; Byrne, Neil J. 1928 -_; Marilyn R. 1927 - _ [Raymond Lawrence Diederich was born October 16, 1897 in Cleveland, OH. He married Mary V. Cooligan on June 2, 1921 in Holy Name Catholic Church, Cleveland, OH. He died September 1, 1981 in Richmond Hts, OH at the age of 83. Mary was born August 27, 1898 and died about September 30, 1982 in Pepper Pike, OH at the age of 84. Their son, Donald L. was born January 3, 1923 in Cuyahoga County, Oh and was only 20 when he died November 19, 1943 when the submarine he served on was sunk by the Japanese in the Pacific during World War II. Their only other child, Marilyn, and her husband are also on this stone.] (section 17 lot 545)
