William East, son of John East and Sarah Schaeffer East. Civil War Co. H, 35 OVI and Co. E, 131 OVI. Born January 07, 1837 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio and died December 14, 1896 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio. Wife is Matilda Ann Brown East, daughter of Eunice Bartlemay Brown Ryan and Henry Brown. Matilda was born in Boston, Wayne County, Indiana around 1846 and died August 12, 1935 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio. Also buried in Germantown Cemetery.
