Son of Oliver Wesbter and Patience Wright. He was born on September 24, 1782 in Worthington, Hampshire Co., Ma. His wife Mary Corey was born March 07, 1786 in Hillsboro, Essex, New York. They are the parents of 12 children. He was a local Methodist preacher.
