1870 U.S. Federal Census – NA Film M593-1179, page 341 Rush Twp., Champaign County, Ohio:
Mary Jones, age 46; Loda, age 24; Catherine, age 22; John, age 20.
Information taken from the “Champaign County, Ohio Cemetery Plates Veterans’ Graves Registration Works Projects Administration”, published by the Champaign County Genealogical Society.
Also, information from a grave registration card contained in the records at the Champaign County Veterans Office was verbally provided by Mr. Donald Imel in March, 2004. The grave registration card shows a muster in date of June 22, 1861 and a date of discharge of February 4, 1865. “Service verified by marker.” An upright headstone was installed at the grave site.
