[NOTE-I belive that Joh was born 1835 not 1825. His parents were married Oct 1829. I have a page from Vol 12, page 343 of some Civil War book 2nd Reg. WVA CAV Co. E that was organized in 1861 and to serve 3 years was John E. Woodyard AGE 26, entered SEP 1, 1861 - that would sure make him 35, not 25, and his wife wasn't born until 1844, married 1861 Athens co,. and 1880 census has him at 44]
