Ray Mack was a major league second baseman. He had at least 62 RBI twice, once in offense-depressed 1943. In 1943 he was tenth in the league in the Power-Speed stat. He was also in the top 10 in sacrifice hits twice. His best year was in 1940, when he was an All-Star and was twentieth in MVP voting. He preserved Bob Feller's 194- no-hitter on Opening Day, getting the final out by making a diving stop.
