McVey, Corporal, age 22, date of entering the service August 9, 1861, period of service 3 years, remarks: Appointed Corporal --; captured at battle of Chickamauga, Ga., September 20, 1863; absent in hospital ---, mustered out November 9, 1864 by Circular No. 36, War Department, May 2, 1864.”
