Sarah Marquis was a daughter of John Marquis and Eleanor Croy. She was born 7 Sep 1820 in Madison County, Ohio. On 19 Mar 1842 Sarah married Daniel Mitchell, son of Moses Mitchell and Jemima Cartright. Sarah and Daniel had four children who survived to adulthood. Sarah died ten years before her husband on 10 Mar 1891 in Union County.
