Dallas "Jack" Ford, age 63, on Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at his home. Survived by wife, Carol Melvin-Ford; sons, Dallas J. Ford of Tex. and Steve Ford of Calif.; daughters, Connie Ford-Dement of Ga. and Brandy Melvin-Ford of Johnstown, Oh.; brothers, Johnny and Frank Ford; sisters, Doris Wood, Pat Dempsey, Logean Deskins, Nollie Jude, Zelma Ingles, Louise Massie and Alice Carroll; nieces and nephews. Mr. Ford was retired from Kroger Co., a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of V.F.W. Post 9857 and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Johnstown. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Service pending (see Friday's Dispatch for place and time of service).
