Killed in France
Killed in action in France on July 17, 1918 as part of the American Expeditionary Forces in Aisne-Marne. Deployed out of Camp Sherman, Ohio on March 31, 1918. Was the son of Martin and Katherine Wongrowski. Family resided on Belmont St. Body returned to the US aboard the SS Wheaton August, 1921. Burial occurred September 7, 1921.
