Marguerite was born 24 Oct 1924 in Delaware Co., OH and died 18 Mar 2004 in Westerville, Franklin Co., OH. She was the daughter of Samuel W. and Lodema R. (Asher) Morgan. She married William F. Spangler and had four children with him. Her obituary (which follows) appeared in The Columbus Dispatch, 20 Mar 2004.
SPANGLER Marguerite (Morgan) Spangler, age 79, of Westerville, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at Doctors Hospital West. Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Lodema Asher Morgan. Survived by sons, William F. (Mary) Spangler, Jr. and Steven L. Spangler; daughters, Cynthia A. (James) Wheeler and Beverly A. Shay; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jenny Morgan. 1942 Graduate of Orange School, Delaware County, Ohio. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2004 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
