Emerson Jackson was born about 1807 in either CT or MA, both are listed in the census. He died before the 1880 census.
He was married to Louisa Manley (1812-1880) and they lived in Trumbull Co, Ohio. Their sons were probably Harvey L. (b. 1832 NY) and Joseph M. (b. 1833 NY). Louisa and Emerson adopted John M. Martin before he was 3 years old. He is buried at this cemetery.
