Born Sept. 25, 1757 - was a soldier during the
Revolutionary War under Gen. Francis Marion.
Subsequently Gen. Morgan was at the Battle of the Cow Pens.
At the age of 55 when his Country called he volunteered and served a tour on the N.W. Frontier under Gen. E.W. Tupper was called to his
final account Oct. 10, 1830.
