Brother and sister Amos Frederick Wilburn and Lucy Wilburn died 02 May 1923 and were interred in the same grave at Milldale Cemetery, also known as School Land Hollow Cemetery, Scioto County, Ohio. They were children of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilburn.
Joint funeral services were held for Amos and Lucy and a third child, John Amos Bevens, who died on the same day and was also buried in Milldale Cemetery. John was a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Bevens of Lakeside, New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio.
The three children died of "pneumonia, following measles. A brief service was held at the home where the families live and burial was in School Land Hollow cemetery. Rev. Pearl Hughes of the Immanuel Baptist Church New Boston officiated. The Wilburn children were buried in the same grave and the Bevens child just a few feet away in the hillside burial grounds."
