A baby boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Coinwell (Cornwell) of New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio, died shortly after his birth on Sunday morning, 01 April 1917. “The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and burial was in the School Land Hollow cemetery.” The cemetery, also known as Milldale Cemetery, is in Scioto County. Source: obituary, The Valley Sentinel, Portsmouth, Ohio, 04 April 1917, Page 3. Note: The death notice spells the last name “Coinwell.” However, there is a Scioto County, Ohio, death record for a stillborn infant, Cornwell, who died 01 April 1917. (Ohio, Deaths, 1908-1932, 1938-1944, & 1958-2007.)
