George lived with his family in 1900 and 1910; he was employed as a coal miner by the New York Coal Company in Oreton. In 1920, George and his sister, Vada (Nevada), lived in the same dwelling in Vinton Twp. Their sister Hannah Chilcott had died Aug 6, 1919, Athens County.
By April 1942, George Roscoe Chilcott, 60, single, lived 2 miles south of Wellston, mining coal for Frank Kinnison. Sister Vada Chilcott died Aug 6, 1944, Vinton Co, 70Y
d MAR 9, 1965, 83Y, single, a resident of Vinton County.
