Nelson and Chloe were the parents of a son, Nelson Edgar Pierce, b Nov 2, 1978, Vinton Twp.
Nelson Pierce died DEC 1, 1879, Vinton Twp, 27Y 9M 11D. (stone very deteriorated)
In 1880, Chloe C. Pierce, 25, widowed, and son, Nelson E, 1, lived with her parents in Vinton Twp.
William J. Davis married Chloe C. Pierce on Mar 18, 1891, Vinton County.
Wm J. (1848-1909) and Chloe C. (1854-1938) Davis are buried at Radcliff Cemetery.
Nelson Pierce is buried with his parents.
