Lowell D. Shonkwiler

Services for Lowell Dean Shonkwiler, 32, of Allen Park, Mich., are to be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Rev. Robert Barth officiating.
Shonkwiler was pronounced dead on arrival at Detroit General Hospital at 7 pm Tuesday following a gunshot wound.
A Portsmouth native, he was district manager of Greyhound Fleet Service in Detroit, Mich., and a member of Allen Park Jaycees.
Surviving are his wife, Karyn Sue Swick Shonkwiler, a son, Jeffrey Dean Shonkwiler, and two daughters, Jamie Sue and Cindy Lynne Shonkwiler, all at home, and four sisters, Mrs. Deloris Zempter and Mrs. Theora Bradley, both of Milldale Rd., Portsmouth, and Mrs. Lucille Skaggs and Mrs. Carolyn Roberts, both of Wheelersburg.
