PIQUA — Dorothy "Dottie" Kastner, 87, a long time resident of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014. She had moved to Minneapolis, Minn. last year to be closer to her daughter, Marcia, and her family.
Born in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Sol and Sara Goodman. She was the widow of Erving Kastner of Piqua. Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Herman, in World War II; sisters, Helen, Mildred and Rita; son, Howard; and granddaughter, Elyssa.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Marcia Margolis; son-in-law, Simon; and granddaughter, Erica, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; and grandson, Harris Kastner of Cincinnati.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. today, at Temple Anshe Emeth, 320 Caldwell St. in Piqua. Memorial contributions to your favorite charity . Glicker Funeral Home, Dayton, is handling arrangements.
