Lee A. Kaufman 73, of Sidney died on Sunday at 1:56 pm at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Piqua on July 10, 1929 to the late Morris and Rose Blickstein Kaufman. He married Lora Kramer on June 12, 1955 in Cincinnati; and she survives.
Other survivors include a son Mark Kaufman of Sidney, two daughters and sons-in-law Lynn and Randy Mielnik of Perrysburg, Michele and David Roberts of Loveland, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Mr. Kaufman obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in 1951.He was a Coordinator of Adult Education for the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Sidney Masonic Lodge and the Sidney Moose Lodge.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday January 14, 2003 at 1:30 pm at the Temple Anshe Emeth 320 Caldwell Street with Rabbi Vickie Tuckman officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
