St. Paris--Roy C Bricker, Jr., 53 DeGraff, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in Cleveland Clinic, following two months of illness. An employee of the Copeland Corp. in Sidney, he was born in Adams Township of Champaign County o Dec. 14, 1925, a son of Roy Sr. and Edna Neal Bricker
He was a member of Springhills Presbyterian Church and the Shelby County Deer Hunters' Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Doris Strong, whom he married Mar 27, 1948, his parents, now of St. Paris, two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Sherri) Pence of St. Paris and Mrs. Millard (Rita) Shaffer of Quincy; two brothers, Paul of St. Paris and Robert of Urbana; two sisters, Mrs. Alan (LaDonna) Barger of St. Paris and Mrs. Ralph (Carol) Monroe of Urbana and five grandchildren
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral Home by the Rev. Lynn Roberson, past of the First Baptis Church. Burial will be in Sprig Grove
