St. Paris--Norman A Biddle, 80, of St. Paris, died Thursday, May 25, 1989 at 5:55 pm in Community Hospital in Springfield, after two weeks of failing health.
Born October 29, 1908, in Urbana, he was a son of the late Samuel and Effie Bell (Stout) Biddle.
He married the former Elva Lorene Baker January 19,m 1929.
In 1974 he retired as an inspector for Hobart Manufacturing Company in Troy.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Chuck and Raymond Edward, both of Urbana, two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Phyllis) Wallace of Urbana, Mrs. Marvin (Wilma Jean) Teach of Escondido, Calif, 10 grandchildren, four step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Nelson Biddle; one daughter Donna Marie Biddle; one brother and two sisters.
Graveside memorial services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris with the Rev. Craig Foreman officiating
