Woodstock--Stanley M, (Pappy) current, 80, Woodstock, died Sunday, Sept 2, 1990 at 7:15 a.m. in his residence.
Born May 9, 1910, in Pike County, he was the son of William and Sarah (Williams) Current
He was a retired welder from the Johnson Manufacturing company and a past employee of Navistar.
He had once owned Current' Auto Dealership in St. Paris.
Survivors include his wife, Donna May (Hurdle) current, whom he married July 19, 1955, five daughters, four sons and daughter-in-laws; 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one brother, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jess (Shadley) Current in 1953, one daughter, Ruth Barger, two sons, Alan and Timothy L Current, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Skillman-McDonald Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev Frank Summerfield and Rev Steve Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in in Asbury Cemetery, Catawba
