Emma Dappert, age 87, DeGraff, passed away at 6:50 am on Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born on November 8, 1924 in Kolatschowka, Bessarbien (Romania) a daughter of the late Emanuel and Eva (Fiedler) Hildebrandt.
On March 8, 1947 she married Christian Dappert and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1986. Emma is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gisela and Jack Bowling of Dunlap, TN., two grandchildren, James E Bowling of Dunlap, TN, Julie M Bowling of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., one great granddaughter, Mikaya C Bowling of Harrah, OK, and three foster great grandchildren, BrookLynn, Carsen, and Chase Rogers of Troy. She is also survived by a sister, Ottilhe Cernyar of Xenia and Ernest (Charlotte) Hildenbrandt of DeGraff, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Hans Dapper, a sister, Else Dappert, three brothers, Arthur Helmut,Alfred Hildebrandt and one infant brother. Emma was of the Lutheran faith. She retired from Copeland Corporation, Sidney in 1989 after 25 years of employment.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday in Spring Grove Cemetery, N. Heck Hill Road, St. Paris, OH
