Freda Ferne Taylor, 63, St. Paris, passed away at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
She was born in Tipp City, March 28, 1941.
Mrs. Taylor was a 1959 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked for many years for the Salvation Army in Piqua.
On Aug. 8,1959, Freda married Donald J. Taylor. He survives along with her father, Harry William Supinger of Brooksville, Fla.; three sons, Timothy (Kathie) Taylor of Springfield, James Darren Taylor of Union City and Keith William Taylor of St. Paris; one daughter, Corena Ferne (Bob) Kirk of Troy; 18 grandchildren; five great¬grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Fair of Florida and Steven (Juanita) Supinger of Piqua; four sisters, Margueritte (Ken) Stutzman and Rebecca Gail (Ora) Root, both of Brooksville, Fla., Leila Roxanne (Boyd) Sampley of Tipp City and Valerie Jean (Doug) Fosnight of Piqua; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leila June Cencebaugh, and a son, Kevin Andrew Taylor, who passed away on Sept. 6,1990.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Salvation Army Citadel, 129 S. Wayne St., Piqua, with Maj. Ronald Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris.
