Mary E. "Betty" Storts, 89, of Urbana,died Saturday morning June 2, 2007, in the
Alterra Sterling House of Urbana. She was born May 3, 1918 in New Boston, OH, a
daughter of James and Mary Elizabeth (Bridwell) Elliott
Betty was a Glenwood High School graduate, a member of the Urbana United
Methodist Church, the Urbana Chapter #530 Order of the Eastern Star and the
Wednesday Euchre Club. She retired from the G.C. Murphy Company and had operated
a preschool.

Survivors include a daughter: Beverly Kern and her husband John of Mt Sterling;
10 grandchildren, John and Jennifer Kern of Hohenfels, Germany, Benjamen and Maria
Kern of Hilliard, Peter and Kristine Kern of Findlay, Thomas Kern of Toledo, Laura Kern
of Mt Sterling, Doug and Andrea of CA, Debbie Bowles of Urbana, Janice and Mike
Meyer of Urbana; Keith and Jessica Baker of Columbus; Joey Baker of CO; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Francis Doug Storts who died Jan. 27, 2005; a daughter, Sharon Baker; two sisters, Alwena and Lorena; four brothers, Ralph, Foster, Harold, and an infant brother.
The family will receive friends from 12:30- p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6,2007 in
the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St, Urbana, OH 43078.
The services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, with
Rev. Kevin Horrigan, officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana.
