Mary Jane Taylor, 81, died Sunday, Nov. 23,1997, at
5 a.m. in the McAuley Center. She was born in North Lewisburg on Jan
6, 1916. She was a WAC veteran of World War II and a homemaker She
was also a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Urbana.
She is survived by her children, Jane (Jim) Dunlavy and John A.
Logsdon, of Urbana, Joseph Logsdon of California, grandchildren,
Deborah (Gayle) Williams of Springfield, Michael Dunlavy of
Bellefontaine, and Sharon (Mark) Gibbs of Urbana, eight great-grandchildren,step-children, BettyWooton of Springfield and Marjorie
Nash of Kennard, ten step-grandchildren and numerous step great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Taylor, son James
Logsdon, grandson, David Dunlavy,and step-daughter, Juanitta Irwin
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 25, 1997, at
the WALTER-SCHOEDINGERFUNERAL HOME where funeral
services will be held on Wednesday,Nov. 26, 1997, at 2.30 p.m. with Mr.
George W Jackson officiating.
Burial will be held in Grandview Cemetery
