Juanita J. Bowers, 86, 3003 W. Cisco Road, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at 7:05 a.m. at Hospice of Dayton. She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Shelby County, the daughter of Earl Carpenter and Elizabeth (Stewart) Carpenter. She married Charles Bowers in 1940. He died Nov. 11, 1978. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Bowers of Brookville. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Bowers was a homemaker. She attended First United Methodist Church in Sidney. Services are set for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, with Dr. Fred Lacuesta officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery
