Funeral services were held Friday for S. Clrk Stem, 51, near Jackson Center, who was shot to death by his 15-year-old son, Kenneth following an alleged argument Tuesday at their farm. Also injured was Linda Stem, Kenneth's, 21- year-old sister
Mr. Stem was born Jan. 29, 1922 Miami County, a son of Kenneth b and Rosie Clark Stem. He married the former Katherine Gates, Jul 10 1948.
Survivors include his five children, Mrs Glen Clayton (Cthleen) of Piqua; Linda, Rosie, Sherman and Kenneth all at home; a grandson and a brother, William of Sidney.
He was a World War II Veteran and was employed at Ross Alumnum Foundaries. He was a member of the Jackson Center VFW, Sidney Eagles Lodge and the Spring Creek United Church of Christ.
Services were held at Cromes and Sons Funeral Home with burial in Fletcher Cemetery
