llen "Sarge" E. Clark, age 76, of Piqua and formerly of Troy, passed away at 1:37 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in his residence. Born on December 14, 1937 in Piqua, Allen was the son of the late Allen V. and Margaret (Hamilton) Clark. He is survived by 3 daughters: Kadena (Timothy) Cruea of Covington, Christina Kolker of Bradford, and Anita Clark of Union City; 2 sons: Mark (Melissa) Clark and Jay Clark both of Piqua and a step-daughter, Angie (Steve) Wills of Piqua. He was a loving grandfather to Tabitha Jackson, Ashley Huggins, Jessica Weymer, Destiny Clark, Tavian Crain, Kameo Crain, Takota Jackson and thirteen additional grandchildren; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Stover and Braylon Huggins and thirteen additional great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Linda Weeks and will be sadly missed by his special friend, Adra Coats of Troy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joe and Bob Clark, a sister, Katherine Moore and a half brother, Forrest. Allen was a 1957 graduate of Piqua High School and he served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force retiring on October 1, 1977. He was a machinist at Piqua Engineering for 22 years. Allen was a past President of the Piqua Eagles and a former member of the Covington Eagles and the Piqua Moose. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, Ohio with Pastor David Mulvaine of the Troy Baptist Temple presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad, Piqua.
