Patty Lou Lichtenberg, 43, of Columbus and formerly of Conover, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, in her residence.
She was born on July 16, 1963, in Troy, the daughter of Frederick G. Sr. and Judith E. (Martin) Lichtenberg, who survive in Conover. She also is survived by seven siblings, Fred Lichtenberg Jr. of DeGraff, Cindy Lichtenberg of Piqua, Larry (Connie) Lichtenberg of Berne, Ind., Douglas (Stacey) Lichtenberg of Maplewood, Dennis (Joan) Lichtenberg of Sidney, Cheryl (Jim) Puthoff of Grove City and Craig Lichtenberg of Piqua; and many nieces, nephews, step-nieces and nephews.
Patty grew up attending Covenant Lutheran Church in St. Paris, and was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Piqua. She was attending Trinity Lutheran Seminary School, serving as a student pastor at All Shepherd's Church in Lewis Center and serving as house mother for two families.
She was a 1981 graduate of Miami East High School, and attended Wittenberg University, Urbana University and Wright State University earning bachelor of arts degrees in education and Spanish.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the St. John's Lutheran Church, 248 Wood St., Piqua, with Pastor Shannon Vogelezang officiating. Graveside committal services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher.
